Welcome to my digital garden. I use Obsidian as my main platform for taking notes. These are some of them. See my latest updated notes below or browse by topic

I have adapted the note maturity system I saw implemented on Utsob’s Hermitage into what I call garden notes. for a primer on how I organize my thoughts privately in my obsidian vault, see this post These are the types of notes I use and what they mean:
- Seeds (🫘) are bloggy musings that are complete and which I do not intend to alter, but which may give rise to notes that will become plants within the garden
- Sprouts (🌱) are fragments or burgeoning ideas. On this site, these will be quick, rough writings, ill-defined concepts, or half-baked distillations
- Saplings (🪴) are more coherent sprouts, but still require substantial editing to be considered complete.
- Trees (🌲) are complete posts that will not change significantly in content, but may be edited for clarity.
- Snags (🪵) are notes that are outdated, but which are kept for posterity
- Signposts (🪧) help with navigation and provide information about the garden
- Stones (🪨) are notes on outside sources (essays, music, films, books, etc)
- Greenhouses (:GrGreenhouse:) are collections of notes and sources - a bit of structure in the garden
I have many, many more notes than are published here. As a result, there are numerous broken links about. Please excuse the mess, and enjoy this little corner of my mind :)
